The winner is said to be able to receive this sum of Rs 643.7 million per annum for 30 years or the balance as a lump sum after tax.

A liquor store in Fraser Park that sold a winning lottery ticket has been awarded $1 million in incentives. In the United States, it is mandatory to pay taxes on winnings from gambling or lotteries. Provinces also levy separate taxes (ranging from 2.5% to 10.9%).

The California State Lottery Sales Organization notes that the Lottery alone has allocated $100 million since last July for public education.
