An official of the committee said,

Adani Group plans to invest Rs 4 lakh crore in Mundra city over the next six years, including ongoing and new projects. This investment will be used to expand the port facilities, construct a new berth for copper ore handling, establish a copper smelter plant, and develop a green hydrogen project and renewable energy resources.

The Adani Group has already invested over Rs 70,000 crore in Mundra, which has transformed the city from a barren land 25 years ago to India's largest commercial port. The Group's latest investment is expected to further boost the region's industrial capacity and create thousands of new jobs.

Here are some of the specific projects that the Adani Group plans to invest in Mundra:

Port expansion: The Group plans to construct a new berth for copper ore handling, as well as expand the existing container terminals.

Copper smelter plant: The Group is setting up a greenfield copper refinery project at Mundra, with one million tpa capacity in two phases.

Green hydrogen project: The Group is developing a green hydrogen project at Mundra, which will use renewable energy to produce hydrogen.

Renewable energy: The Group is investing in renewable energy projects, such as solar and wind power, in the Mundra region.

The Adani Group's investment in Mundra is a major boost for the city and the region. It is expected to create thousands of new jobs, boost economic activity, and make Mundra a global hub for green energy and sustainable development.
