What is the turnover of Frooti

Many years ago, the business of this company was running at the level of Rs.300 crores.

Now let's see how he emerged as an achiever in the industry at such a young age.

Parle Agro India Limited was founded1985 by Prakash Chauhan. He was the one who introduced the fruity drink.

As the daughter of this Prakash Chauhan, Nadia Chauhan was born in the state of California, USA. Although born in America, grew up and studied in Mumbai. At the age of 17, this girl stepped into her father's business world. At that time 95 per cent of Parle's business was fruit. But the trade value of that day was Rs.300 crores. Moreover, there was a perception that fruity means a drink for children.

But Nadia Chauhan, after taking charge as Fruity's brand manager, made several changes to increase the business.

Initially the packaging color of Fruity was green. But Nadia Chauhan changed it up and came up with pale yellow, the color of mango.

This change started attracting customers. Nadia also changed the perception that Fruity is only for children and made it available to people of any age.

Introducing new products

Nadia felt that the future of the company should not be faced with a single product called Fruity. Subsequently, he introduced a drinking water bottle called Baile.

Apple-flavoured drink called Apple Biz was also launched. Since 2005, all the products of Parle Company have started selling in bulk. Fruity, which accounts for about 48 per cent of sales, alone has a business value of Rs 4,000 crore.

Similarly, the total company value has risen to Rs 8,500 crore. Currently, Nadia Chauhan is working as the Associate Director of the company.
