Hyundai Motor Company is planning to raise nearly 25,000 crore rupees through a new IPO this year. South Korea-based Hyundai is planning to raise funds for its Indian arm 'Hyundai Motor India'.

Accordingly, the Hyundai Motor India Group's operations are valued at around Rs 2.50 lakh crore and are expected to raise around Rs 25,000 crore.

The valuation would be more than half of Hyundai's market cap in South Korea.

It is said that Hyundai is in talks with investment banks such as 'JP, Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Citi, Bank of America'.

In the last year 2022, LIC raised nearly Rs 21,000 crore through IPO. This is the largest fund ever raised through an IPO in India.

If Hyundai goes ahead with the new share issue, it will be India's largest IPO.
